Hi guys, I've been having several problems connecting to the server recently. I'll just randomly get a connection warning sign come up and then get disconnected, although this morning, Sunday 11th, I'm not getting any response from the server whatsoever. Is it just me that's having problems or is anybody else getting the same thing?

its down for me too
server did crash twice yesterday bass ... so it may be something with e-frag unless u r being disconnected and the server is still up then its u

I can't see the server, second time today.
Does anyone know if anything's up with the net generally? I've heard a couple of people saying they had problems connecting to the ISP or accessing certain things as well.

Maybe the iD server was in a server farm right next to the hemel hempstead oil depot which went up today, promptly taking the iD server with it.

Thanks to the ID guys for sorting it all out (and anybody else involved too!).
I'm getting other problems now though...
As soon as the zombies came on this evening I got another connection warning and then disconnected. Got no response from the server for a couple of minutes and then it just appeared. When I join however, everything freezes up when I spawn and I lose the connection. It looked like Commando and Rogan were/are having similar problems.

yeah, i got connection problems too. Unusually high ping and spikes lately.
I think i can attribute a part of the problems (spikes especially) to apparently something going on on my PC (spyware ?) since i get outgoing traffic ever n seconds with no apparent reason when everything seems to be idle.. my firewall doesn't report anything unusual, just svchost process being active.
I red on the net on a few places that certain worms may replace that process.. investigation pending

I got the same thing, really bad ping spikes although my ping seems to be good enough at the moment, it started since the recent de_nuke update.

if ur having probs with de_nuke then turn off hdr. i found it lagged my comp a bit and really wasnt that great ... just burnt ur eyes out ur socket :/
